The Pipes & Drums of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division One, has been in
existence for over 35 years. It began in the Monroe, NY area in 1976 by a handful of dedicated
pipers and drummers.  It has now grown to well over 40 members,  with a number of students
still in the "pipeline".  The students learning the bagpipes are now taught by  our new Pipe
Justin Bourne after the retirement of the one and only Jim Kelly; many of our
current pipers were taught Jim and by the late, great
Bill Spencer. The snare drummers are
taught by various experienced drummers in the band, while the tenors are taught by Tenor
Kathryn Collins.

Mike Tully is our new Pipe Major; Bill Hawkens our Pipe Sergeant. Brendan Mallon is our
new Drum Sergeant and
Drum Major is the famous and fashionable Jim "Seamus" Davis.

Please check the rest of our website for more information about the band.  The Band is available
for parades, weddings, funerals and parties.
